Research Facilities

The School of Agriculture, Food & Wine has facilities and services for the aide of research both internally and externally. The Plant Accelerator

The Plant Accelerator at the Waite Campus of the University of Adelaide, is a world-leading plant growth and analysis facility, which will accelerate pure and applied plant science research Australia-wide and internationally. For more information, please visit the Plant Accelerator website.

Membrane Transporter Expression Facility

The MTEF enables expression of genes (plant or animal) in a cell system (Xenopus oocytes) that can be robotically screened for various membrane transport activities and has applications in drug discovery and protein engineering.
