Information for Prospective and Current Postgraduate Students
The School of Agriculture, Food and Wine offer two alternatives for postgraduate students:
- A series of programs aimed at increasing and/or broadening skills and knowledge obtained from areas of undergraduate study and/or employment
- Students undertake a series of courses with the option of a small research project of 6-12 months duration (depending on program).
- Three levels available (within each program):
- Graduate Certificate (equivalent to 6 months full-time study)
- Graduate Diploma (equivalent to 1 year full-time study)
- Masters by Coursework (18 months – 2 years full-time study, depending on program)
- A research-only degree
- Available as:
- Masters by Research (2-3 years full-time)
- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) (3-4 years full-time)
